Why the French could have won the French and Indian Wars in America

From 1748 to 1754, the American colonists were embroiled in the French and Indian wars (except at sea). The colonists seemed to be the major losers of some of these battles. I the New England portion of the colonies, they lost Fort Oswego and For Niagara.

Things changed in 1755 when the Indian wars were no longer left to the colonial efforts alone…
