Fashion has always been a “thing” with women. Throw in some fancy hairdos, a fan, pointed shoes, and lovely manners, and you have the Colonial Era.

The adopted styles in America originated in England and later France. I can recall that styles dominated the scene as late as the 1940s and 1950s. There was an annual season for adopting something new. During the 1940s, for the first time, women wore “men’s trousers.” Of course, the male cut was altered to fit the female figure. And from there, we went to shorts, short-shorts, and mini skirts!

Stylish trends are something that women observe more than men.

Yet, since the invention of the automobile, men have appreciated the styling. The 1920s introduced fabulous designs such as — —

  • Rolls Royce Phantom Limousine.
