Tracing Ancestors is Getting Easier
I do not mean to suggest that it is easier to find the ancestors. Every genealogist spends years searching the old records, trying to find answers.
I became interested in 1960. Compared to today, research was more tedious. There were few indexes to biographies or sketches. I do not know what was going on during the 1930s, but (genealogy) authors did not publish an index in the back of the book. Also, there was no index for census records.
