Let us return, say, to the 1940s and enjoy life. That was when my family sat on the front porch and counted passing autos. Few people in the neighborhood had a vehicle. Times were tough. Our alternative traffic was a trolley car that shook and shuttered while its electric poles fell off the wire. Yet, I would rather observe the classy design of old-timey automobiles than encounter another riot in person or watch it over the Internet.
