John Kimbrough of Richland Creek took an Oath of Soldiers of War of 1812. “I, John Kimbrough, do solemnly swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the State of Georgia and to the utmost power and ability observe, conform to, support and defend the Constitution thereof without any reservation or equivocation whatsoever and the Constitution of the United States.
